Head Chef Marc Benkoe brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in handling meat and butchery to Grand Hyatt Steakhouse.
Born and raised in Austria, the meat expert has worked in various renowned restaurants in three continents since he was 15 years old. He is in charge of sourcing some of the best cuts of meat from around the world, grilled to perfection alongside his other various culinary creations.

Renowned for its commitment to sustainable farming and superior cattle rearing, this Wagyu promises a unique dining experience with its firm yet silky mouthfeel. We are also proud to be the first steakhouse in Hong Kong to offer the exclusive Karoo Wagyu Bone-in M9+ cut!

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is proud to collaborate with local charity Zero Foodprint Asia to help regional farmers shift to more climate friendly practices. An additional 1% of all bills at ten of the hotel’s restaurants and bars – Grissini, The Grill, Waterfall Bar, One Harbour Road, Kaetsu, Teppanroom, Grand Hyatt Steakhouse, Grand Café, Tiffin and Champagne Bar – will go to support farmers’ efforts to sequester carbon through regenerative agriculture, as we eat our way out of the climate crisis.
